Essex Lawn Care is an independent family business. We pride ourselves in offering a professional, reliable service that can’t be beaten with new and existing customers. We offer beautiful, lush, green lawns to every home or business property in Essex. We hold all relevant City and Guilds NTPC pesticide qualifications to legally and professionally treat your lawn.
OUR SERVICES
At Essex lawn Care our treatment plans consist of four Seasonal Treatments. We use specific techniques and products suitable for the weather conditions at the time, the general condition of the lawn(s) and the growth seasons. As our goal is to always make your lawn look the best it possibly can we may also recommend some additional treatments which will keep your lawn in peak condition.
Along with our four seasonal treatments we also offer a whole range of additional treatments and services which cover Weed Control on hard surfaces (patios and driveways), Lawn Insect/Pest and Disease control, Seeding new and existing lawns, Topdressing & Wetting Agents. We also offer seasonal renovation works which include; Scarifying, Aeration and full lawn make overs.

SEASONAL TREATMENTS
We offer our customers year-round lawn care which is in the form of our seasonal treatments which are applied at carefully selected times of the year. Prices start from as little as £20.00 per seasonal treatment.
Spring
Our first treatment of the year lifts the lawn out of winter. We feed the lawn with a special mix of nutrients to encourage the grass to take advantage of the growing conditions. Healthy grass prevents moss and weeds establishing in your lawn. At the same time we also apply a specifically selected herbicide to control common weeds such as dandelions, daises and clover.
Summer
An essential application of fertiliser plus nutrients is applied to encourage the grass to thicken out, producing that beautiful green lush lawn. We also apply a selective herbicide for continued weed management.
Autumn
A dedicated feed containing essential trace elements is applied to protect your lawn from diseases that are common during Autumn. This is also the best time to act on moss growth, therefore we apply professional products to kill any moss. The lawn is then re-sprayed with herbicide to control any new weed growth. We also apply a fertiliser to strengthen the roots of the grass.
Winter
As moss growth is now at its most active we apply a critical application of moss control plus, which not only kills off the moss in your lawns and stops the spores spreading but it also greens and toughens the grass through the winter months.

Additional treatments/advice; When we conduct your seasonal treatments we always review the health and wellbeing of your lawn and will advise or recommend additional treatments or services we offer if required.
In the rejuvenation months Spring/Autumn it may be beneficial to scarify and or aerate your lawn to remove dead thatch, moss and relieve your lawn of compaction this also allows your lawn to breathe which is crucial for a lush green, healthy lawn. We can also overseed any bare, thinning patches and topdress.

IS MY LAWN BEYOND REPAIR?
No, we are able to bring any lawn back to life with our full restoration programmes. There are many different approaches we can take when rejuvenating a lawn as all lawns are individual and will be at different stages requiring a certain select plan. As always we would start with a FREE no obligation lawn survey and from there create a plan tailored to your lawns needs.
TYPICALLY HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE UNTIL I NOTICE AN IMPROVEMENT IN MY LAWN?
All lawns are individual and require different care but depending on when you start your Essex Lawn Care journey your lawn can start to visually look improved from as little as 4-6 weeks. Typically majority of lawns will begin to improve within a month or two.
Rest assured, your lawn will thank you for the nutrients received on that first visit.
DOES ESSEX LAWN CARE HAVE THE RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS TO TREAT MY LAWN?
Yes. We have all the required certification and experience to correctly and safely apply all pesticides, herbicides and fungicides that your lawn or hard surfaces may require.
DO I HAVE TO COMMIT TO A CONTRACT?
No, with Essex lawn Care you can pay as you go - simply pay for your treatment once it has been applied (typically quarterly) four seasonal treatments a year. We do not feel the need tie you in to any contracts as we're confident once you see the improvements to your lawn you will reward your lawn with regular lawn maintenance.
DO I NEED TO BE AT HOME WHEN THE TREATMENT TAKES PLACE?
No, as part of our seasonal treatment scheduling we will always get in contact with you before your treatment is due and as long as you can leave access for us to conduct your treatment you do not need to be at home - we always shut and or lock your access if possible so you can rest assured your property is safe whilst you're not around.
